2 months (3 weeks late)

I thought I was doing pretty good at blogging on a semi-regular basis before the baby came along.  Then, she was born and I had my surgery and the only time I could find to blog was occasionally at night after all the girls were in bed and before I passed out due to exhaustion.  Well, due to the recent drama at Wachovia, Patrick has now been home for dinner every night for the past couple weeks (a huge change for us)!  So now I no longer blog in the evening since I actually have a husband at home to hang out with!  There are SO many things I've wanted to blog about and pictures I've wanted to post, but I'll just start with this one.

Emery had her two month check-up on September 22nd and here are the stats:

  • weight:  10 lbs 10 oz (50th percentile)
  • length:  23 1/2 inches (90th percentile)

You have NO idea how excited I was to hear those numbers.  Maybe when I show you the numbers from Berkeley's two month check-up, you'll see why:

  • weight:  8 lbs 7 oz
  • length:  21 inches

Yeah, we've got an absolute porker on our hands!  (Yes, I know most people have babies much bigger than Emery at two months, but for OUR family, this is a big deal!)  All I ever heard from Berkeley's pediatrician was how I needed to be feeding her more, which seemed pretty much impossible to me since I was feeding her for an hour per feeding and she was hungry almost every hour!  It is SO nice this time around to be able to relax a little more and know that my baby is growing okay and not have the doctors giving me a hard time about it.  It has made all the difference in the world, especially for Patrick.  He thinks he's finally got his "baller."

And for your viewing pleasure since I haven't posted any pictures in about a month. . .

She looks healthy -- and how AWESOME that you finally have a husband...i wish I could say the same but unfortunately we have been having late nights again -- with last Friday he came home at 5 am --- so a very long thursday and friday morning -- crazy!!! She is SO cute -- and that was exactly the weight Cash was at his first month apt. so i am hoping he has gained a few pounds for month 2 next week! we'll see!

very cute little emery. it will be interesting to see how her face changes and see who she starts looking more like. i wonder if her hair will change to blonde like kendalls or be like berks. she really is a cutie. i'm glad you have patrick home for a little while.

I love the picture of Emery in the little bird shirt! So cute! And I'm so happy that she's thriving and doing so wonderfully. (Of course I have a soft spot for little babies, too...:)

And you are looking fantastic, too, Meredith!

She is adorable. All your girls are too cute. I am amazed that you keep up with blogging as good as you do with a 2 month old. All I remember is being so exhausted. Blogging came last on my list. Matt says to say Hi to everyone there and he's glad to see everyone doing good.

Your little baby looks so much like Berkeley! My phone number is still the same (my cell I've had for the past 6 years). Do you still have that? It's the 702 area code number. Anyway, if you don't still have that I will call you and/or email you.
