DDD

Friday was the Daddy Daughter Dance at Kendall’s elementary school.  Since Berkeley is a rising kindergartener, she was also invited to the dance.  The girls were anticipating this night for WEEKS, although when Kendall found that the theme “An Evening in Paris” did NOT mean they were actually going to Paris, she was a little disappointed!

It sounded like they all had a great time, especially for two daughters and a daddy who don’t get to spend near enough time together.  Patrick sent me this text while he was there:

Aside from it being 95 degrees and Berks having a tummy ache, all is good. Kendall loves being with me and Berks wants to be with everyone else.

And here are some pictures that Patrick took with his phone to document the evening:

They came home around 9:30 pm and finished the night off with a little sorbet. . .

. . . and then were so wired and happy that they couldn’t settle down and go to sleep until almost ELEVEN!

So sweet! I love this tradition. Your girls are beautiful.

Looks like the lip is healing nicely. What a cutie, that Berks.

It is so great that the DDD is still around. The relationship with dads and daughters is so sweet. I am glad Patrick got to participate.

Berks is looking great. Can't wait to see her in a few weeks!

What a fun night. I'm sure Patrick looks forward to this night as much as the girls do.
