A-B-C-D

IMG_0241

Patrick and I have been married for almost 10 1/2 years now.  In that time, we have been fortunate enough to live in some pretty great cities.

Our first stop after college was the amazing city of Austin.

Three years later, we said goodbye and set off for some business in beautiful Boston.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, but after two short years, we set off for lots of shade in Charlotte.

Do you see a pattern here??

It will be four years next month that we’ve lived here in the “Queen City,” and while we love it and can’t believe we’re doing this, we have made the decision to move to Denver!

My world is spinning.  I have tons of mixed emotions about this move.  I also have tons of things to DO to make this move happen!  I know it will all work out somehow, but I’m feeling quite overwhelmed with it all—the thing most pressing on my mind right now is HOW WILL WE SELL OUR HOUSE IN THIS HORRIBLE MARKET??  Another important question is, where are we going to end up next?  Eureka?  Evansville?  Elko?  Are there any desirable cities that start with “E”?

I think you should stop with the "D" there are no desirable "E" cities that I can think of. We will miss you!!!

Wow - I missed this news! We just went through the process of getting our house on the market and honestly, it feels GREAT to have my house looking so good (next time I am hiring a stager when I first move in so I can enjoy it!). If you need some motivation/ encouragement about getting it ready and living in it with little kids, let me know. I'm a week and a half into it being on the market (AND Jake is out of the country for five weeks) and so far, so good. I'll definitely be interested in hearing about what's taking you to Denver. I lived there for a year and I bet you'll really like it!

I vote for Elko. But in the meantime, I'm happy that you get to move closer to so much of your family -- how fun will that be!?!?!

Elko is actually a great place to raise a family. I think I turned out! ;) Good luck in Denver. We've almost moved there twice and would still jump at the chance if the job allowed it! Congrats!

I am so excited for your new adventure (maybe a tad jealous you're westward bound! :) and have NO doubt that you'll have no problem selling your home! You have great style, are doing some great remodeling, and it's a super location! No worries! :) (And I agree with some of the other comments - I can't really think of one desirable 'E' city in the U.S. ;)
