I wanted to make sure we got over to Rockefeller Center to see the big Christmas tree since this was the first time we’d been in the city during the Christmas season.
I guess Emery was less than impressed.
On our way back to the apartment, we cut through Central Park, where we saw a bunch of people crowded around the John Lennon memorial at Strawberry Fields. What were they doing? Watching a couple people line up hundreds of tiny cupcakes, of course!
They had some leftover cupcakes once they were done, and Berkeley was one of the lucky ones to get one!
The piles of snow everywhere (especially crossing each corner) were CRAZY! I wish I had a better picture of how much slush you had to trudge through to get across each street.
It was cold and wet, but we brought tons of winter gear, so the weather didn’t keep us down!
