Kendall’s birthday is just two weeks from today. When I asked her a couple weeks ago what she wanted for her birthday, all she said she wanted was art supplies. So when I saw a blog post last week about an “artist trading card swap,” I immediately signed her up!
Basically, your child is put into a group of five other children his/her age who have signed up for the swap, and then your child makes five small pieces of artwork (2.5” x 3.5”) and sends them to the other people in the group. In return, your child will get pieces of art from the five other children in the group—there are people participating from across the United States and all over the world!
I know Kendall is going to be really excited when I tell her about it and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with!
If you think your child would have fun participating in this (the minimum age is 4), don’t wait to sign up because registration ends TODAY (Monday, April 4th)! Registration is SIMPLE. All you have to do is send an email with your child’s age, name, and address. See this site for full directions!
