a river runs through it

Patrick is on his way home from the airport as I’m typing this.  He’s been gone for NINE LONG DAYS having the time of his life fly fishing in Montana with his dad.  I picture it being something like this:image

Although actually, it probably looks more like this (considering these are pictures he sent from his phone instead of one I found online of Brad Pitt):_Device Memory_home_user_pictures_IMG00018

As luck would have it, I’ve spent the last nine days home with three kids while battling pneumonia.  Would anyone blame me if I took off for nine days as soon as Patrick gets home?  I’m pretty sure no one would.  However, I won’t.  I’ve missed him too much.  But I have just one word for him when he gets here:  MASSAGE.

Oh, I feel ya, Meredith! I didn't have pneumonia while Aaron was gone for 19 days, but I had a nasty cold thing and way too much Linear Algebra! July was rough!

You do deserve 9 days off! Somehow that never quite works out. You are an amazing mom and wife.
