Emery has been sleeping in the Pack n’ Play ever since she was born because I just hadn’t felt like going up into the garage attic and dragging down the big crib. Two weekends ago we were having houseguests and needed an extra little bed, so it was just the excuse we needed to finally get it out! Once our houseguests went back to their own home (boo hoo), it was time for Emery to try out her new sleeping quarters. I was wondering what she’d think when she woke up in unfamiliar surroundings. Not so sure if she liked it!
She’s been sleeping in it for a week and a half now and seems to have adjusted. Her regular sleep schedules haven’t been disrupted—12 hours of uninterrupted sleep at night and usually 2 naps a day of about 2-3 hours each. I love having good sleepers—she didn’t sleep all the way through the night till she was 9 months but it was worth the wait!

That's a lot of sleep! I'll try not to be jealous. Enjoy your baby-free time.
awww. She is cute and what a great sleeper!!I have good sleepers too. Its a blessing! We had that same crib in brown and I kept saying one day I would paint it white but never did. Now it is long gone as my 3rd girl must have been all it could take before breaking. :) Hope you are feeling well! Have a good day. Call me if you need anything.
"Try not to be jealous"? too late for that! :) We need to get Emery and Lincoln and Hayley together, so Emery can teach the other two about the benefits of all that sleep!
Just saw your comment on my blog. I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT. It's the model from a few years ago. I've had it about a year and a half there were newer models out at the time. But I love it. I've heard that you really can't go wrong with either Canon or Nikon. Once you decide on one though, you stick with that brand because you get used to how it works and where all the controls are. Plus, if you buy lenses for your DSLR, they can move with you to your next camera within the brand. Someday I'd like to upgrade to the Canon D50, but for now the Rebel is working just fine for me.
I'm not sure any of my kids ever slept that long. At that age, Avery was taking 2 30minute naps. So i'm totally jealous. even more now that she doesn't nap at all!! Glad she likes the crib. She probably is loving all the space and feels like such a big girl!
I am not sure her face shows as much excitement as you are saying, but I'll take your word for it. She is so cute and I love that dress. Glad she is a "big girl" now. And so glad you are feeling better!!
