where in the world?

I have great memories of visiting my Grandma and Grandpa Lowe’s house when I was little.  One of my memories involves a large map that was right above their kitchen table, and my grandpa was always asking us questions about countries and capitals, longitude and latitude, and oceans and rivers.  I knew that someday I wanted to have a map above my own kitchen table when I was grown up!

I guess that means I am finally GROWN UP!

Aw, I loved Grandma's map too. That glass frame really was an incredible find! It kicks the coolness of the map up a notch, and adds function too. Love.

My grandparents and parents also had maps, a world one and a US one. Growing up I was always a little embarrassed when my friends came over that we had maps on our walls. I guess it was more common than I thought! But guess what we have on our walls now? Yep! We don't have a fancy whiteboard to go with it, though, I love the story how you got hooked up with it!

I love it! Do you use it a lot already? I've got one over our kitchen table for the same reason, and we use it all the time, even though our kids are little. Grandma and Grandpa really started something there. :)
